Hi 

My name is Adam Luchs

I am a Sales & Marketing professional with over 15 years of business development experience.  I am also a Certified Hubspot Specialist, and excited to help you grow your business.

I 'cut my teeth' years ago in events and promotions, creating unique experiential marketing campaigns and community events as a strategy for driving new business and overall brand recognition for a company I was working for.

Fast forward and most recently I am the Director of Sales & Marketing for an Event Production company and DMC, having worked tirelessly through the covid-19 pandemic (when live events grinded to a halt..) to bring a modest local startup company from $500K in annual revenues to staring down $4million this year....and we're gonna hit it!!

In between these however I have created and managed events, produced festivals, rebranded and launched 2 hotels, written a handful of marketing plans, executed countless campaigns that targeted and attracted new customer segments, written dozens of blogs, been directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars in new sales, and developed new verticals for some of the world's most recognizable brands.

Since 2020 I have worked in Hubspot on a daily basis, and have learned how powerful a tool it can be for aligning Sales & Marketing efforts.  I am certified in more than a dozen modalities and read to help you utilize Hubspot to level up.

DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING

TOAST OF THE TOWN, AK

Oversee outbound sales initiatives and strategies for Alaska’s Premier event planning and management company. Work across a variety of customer segments including corporate, non-profit, native corporations, and government entities as the State’s preferred vendor for meetings and events.
• Responsible for driving over $1MIL in new business across all sectors, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent gathering restrictions.

 

SALES MANAGER

BLUE NOTE HAWAII

Responsible for revenue generation, sales, marketing and special events.

  • Increased bookings by 200% in the first 6 months and 100% YOY.

  • Launched 4 unique promotional awareness campaigns within the first 90 days.

  • Completed overhaul and refinement of sales department marketing collateral.

MARKETING & BRAND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

QUEEN KAPI’OLANI HOTEL

Spearheaded the development of integrated marketing campaigns to reposition the 315-room hotel from a 2-star to a 4-star property targeting a higher clientele and ADR expectations. Oversaw all marketing and branding activities including development of the communications strategy and comprehensive marketing plan, content strategy with a focus on social media and local influencer campaigns, local/national/non-profit brand alignment, print/digital ad campaigns and collateral design, property/rooms/F&B/lifestyle photo shoots, print/digital sales and marketing collateral for group, FIT, corporate, wholesale business, e-blast campaigns, web development and management.

  • Showcased property to become the #7 ranked Waikiki hotel on Trip Advsor.

  • Managed a marketing budget of $1.2 MM.

  • Drove $600K annually increased hotel revenue (rooms and activities) from email blast campaigns.

  • Increased F&B revenue by $200K with monthly onsite promotional events (concerts, pool parties, dinner events, etc.)​

 

EVENTS & PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER

TURTLE BAY RESORT

Created, designed and executed more than 150 special events for the 800 acre, 442 room luxury beachfront resort on the north shore of Oahu, with 5 restaurants, 6 bars, 2 pools, and nightclub. Also responsible for the management of The Guidepost, the experiential concierge service creating excursions and exceptional experiences for resort guests.

• Partnerships Manager – created and nurtured relationships and strategic alignment of on-brand resort partners including RedBull, GoPro, Martin & Co., Oakley, WSL, Volcom​

  • Event Manager - Managed and ran The Signature Event Series, a dynamic display of high-level events across a multitude of

    genres and concepts, including these notable events:

    • ➢  The Turtle Bay Resort ReLaunch – Oct 2014 - Large-scale media press trip hosting 35 writers from around the world, including Forbes, Travel & Leisure, Golf Digest, to introduce the resort’s newly rebranded concept and design. Generated 45 articles in local, national and global media outlets and publications.

    • ➢  KASKADE – Nov 2014 - 6,000+ person concert featuring Grammy Nominated KASKADE, in conjunction with BAMP Project & Events International.

    • ➢  Annual July 4th Extravaganz – July, 2015 – Full day event featuring live music, food vendors, and fireworks display, generating $50K in direct revenue from the 10,000 event attendees plus an additional $200K lift in YOY hotel revenues from resort guests.

    • ➢  Surfer Poll – Dec, 2015 – Partnered with Surfer Magazine team to produce a top-tier media production with live broadcast, pre and post shows, attracting 600+ attendees, and attaining 10MM viewers

    • ➢  Wanderlust Festival Oahu – Feb, 2016 – Provided marketing direction, growth initiatives (increased room sales, increased revenue capture in the various events, F&B outlets, 1-day tickets, ancilary activty spends), and event production/ execution for multi-day premier holistic lifestyle adventure retreat featuring multi-level yoga and meditation sessions, local organic foods, live music, inspiring lectures and workshops, and boundary-pushing outdoor activities for more than 7,000 attendees.

    • ➢  Red Bull Distance Between Dreams Film Premier – Dec 2016 – Partnered with the Red Bull Marketing & Media teams to design, market, produce, and execute the much-anticipated premier of Ian Walsh’s iconic surfing film, which attracted more than 3,000 attendees, including media and celebrity VIPs.
